American College Students Paid Homage to the Confucian Temple
At July 5th 2007, in Zhengzhou (郑州) City of Henan (河南) Province, fifty-two American students from Stanford University, Cornell University, Colorado State University and other universities came to the Confucian Temple (文庙) and attended a ceremony in memory of Confucius. The American college students dressed in authentic Chinese Clothing and behaved as ancient Chinese proprieties.
Authentic Chinese Clothing brought the elegant and decorous style to the young American students. Great civilizations always can understand each other. Authentic Chinese Clothing (or called Han Clothing [汉服]) is the symbol of the time-honored Chinese Civilization. When the American college students understood which clothing is authentic Chinese Clothing, they had a holy feeling as they went to church. Therefore, they could behave as the students of Confucius.
