Authentic Chinese Clothing in the Night Banquet of 2008 China Open Tennis Tournament
At Sep. 23rd 2008, tennis players from foreign countries dressed in authentic Chinese Clothing and attended the welcoming night banquet of 2008 China Open Tennis Tournament. The authentic Chinese Clothing was offered by the official organization committee of 2008 China Open Tennis Tournament. This was a great progress, because last year the officials offered Qipao and Mandarin Coat to foreign tennis players. This year the officials said that they wanted to let foreign players experience the beautiful style of traditional Chinese culture so they offered Han Clothing (authentic Chinese Clothing).
The foreign tennis players actually didn’t know the deep meaning of authentic Chinese Clothing. They only wanted to have fun. Yes, they really had fun when they wore authentic Chinese Clothing. However, what they dressed in was authentic Chinese Clothing. It is a good idea to let more people accept authentic Chinese Clothing in a cheerful atmosphere.
