A Hole Dug by Tomb Raiders?

In the northern plain of Xianyang (咸阳), there are such two adjacent tombs. They have no tombstones. We don't know who were buried in the tombs. Perhaps the owners of the two tombs were a general of the Han Empire and his wife.

Near the tombs, we found a hole. Both in the hole and around the hole, there are many fragments of pottery wares.

According to the form of such pottery fragments, we guess these pottery wares were used for drainage. Perhaps the hole was dug by tomb raiders. When they dug such a big hole, they only found pottery fragments, but no treasures. So they felt disappointed and left.
